Refurbished Vintage 486 Motherboard
Edom/WinTech MV035 Rev.D: From a Perle 494 Communications Controller
-- custom "stripped-down" version --
made in 1995
AMD 486DX2-66 CPU running at 50 MHz
and has 0K cache RAM installed
Based on the OPTI 802 82C895 82C602A chipset with VIA-II interface chip
four 72-pin RAM slots , comes with 8MB (one 8MB sticks)(max memory is 128MB)
7 16-bit ISA slots
has onboard voltage convertor to supply 3V to the CPU
NOTE: the bus speed is set to 50MHz,
it should be possible to add bus slots for VLBand chip sockets for cacheor maybe an 8th ISA slot? that would be weird
this was factory configured to run without a CPU fan,it seems that at low voltage and low CPU clock speednot much heat is generated
on startup displays:
