---------------------it may be possible to use this card as a floppy controller?this card does not have an onboard BIOS so it cannot boot off of a high density floppy disk but it may boot off of a low-density floppy and after DOS starts up and loads the DEVICE.SYS command in the config.sys file then this will work with high density floppies.
this card uses a N82077 controller chip and definitely handles 1.2 and 1.44 MB densitiesand may go up to 2.88 MB floppies (4MB unformatted)Ð 250 Kbits/secÐ 300 Kbits/secÐ 500 Kbits/secÐ 1 Mbits/sec
